What does it mean to be a Foundation Ambassador?

Broken Hill is a community that deserves to be supported.

In 2013 the Foundation launched the Ambassador Program – we sought a number of people, from all walks of life, to become Ambassadors of the Foundation.

This is an important role—for the future success of the Foundation and the work it does in the Broken Hill community.

It requires no financial commitment, but in becoming a Foundation Ambassador, you can make a real contribution to the sustainability of Broken Hill—simply by talking to other people!

What type of person are we looking for?

We need a mix of families, donors, community leaders, businesspeople, community volunteers and ‘Mums and Dads’ too!

What do you have to do?

Learn about the Foundation and the work we do—and then tell others. To help, we can give you written material, have a Director spend some time talking with you—or you could come to some of our meetings.

Why do this?

We need to generate more awareness in Broken Hill about the important work the Foundation does, so people feel more willing to contribute when we campaign for donations to the Capital Fund.

What is needed to fulfill the role?

You’ll need to support the ideology of the Foundation and be willing and able to ‘spread the word’. The Foundation will provide you with everything else.
