Pam Tucker

Director (since 2022)

Pam is currently employed as Branch Administration Coordinator with Essential Energy and has a passion for all things Community.

Born and bred in Broken Hill, educated part locally and at boarding school and business college in Adelaide, before returning home in 1975 to take up a job at the North Mine/Pasminco where she continued to work for 25 years in administrative, financial and group contract management roles.

In 2000 she moved across to the Australian Inland Energy/Essential Energy to continue her career path kicking off with system management before heading back to her first love in admin world. Pam has 46 years of valuable experience working in these mining and utility industries as well as supporting her husband Steve,  with his construction small business for 38 years, as his admin support. She has a keen understanding and knowledge of the challenges that present so regularly to small business.  Her role now  with Essential Energy has a focus on administration coordination, field support,  process and people management and communication.  

With a strong sense of community,  there has always been time for local involvement over the years. Some of these areas are:  Red Cross, Broken Hill Health Council, community representative on several Health related project groups, Community Round Table (current), Lead Reference Group (current).  She  holds the position of Treasurer of the CWA Broken Hill Branch and also has been recently appointed to the board of Far West Local Health District.
