DGR Status

After twenty years of campaigning Foundation Broken Hill has acquired DGR (Deductible Gift Recipient) status. This is exciting news for our valued supporters and friends as it means that all donations to Foundation Broken Hill are now tax deductible.
Foundation Broken Hill supports small-to-medium enterprises in start-up, expansion or sustainability projects – including the support of regional tourism, community capacity building projects, business mentoring, education of youth and some social programs.

• Foundation Broken Hill has many exciting projects on the horizon and would like to offer all our supporters the opportunity to join us as donors in any way you elect. You might consider becoming a regular donor, or a one-off donor, to Foundation Broken Hill.

In a bold initiative we are, for the first time, giving donors the opportunity to select how they would like their donations utilised via your choice of allocation:

a)     To the Capital Fund to be held in perpetuity with the interest from the investments made available to the local community, or

b)    To the Project Fund which the Board of Foundation Broken Hill, at its discretion, can draw on to support a project it considers worthwhile for the long-term prosperity of the community.
